The safety of our customers and employees at abode has always been our top priority, and as members of the community we want to make sure that we do all we can to slow the spread of COVID-19. Due to the statewide shutdown and stay at home order through April 30, we have temporarily stopped our delivery services. At this time, we are still open online. You are able to make purchases on our website, and we'll notify you when we are able to schedule delivery/pick-up upon the lifting of the government mandate.

We are eager to fully serve the community again, and will keep you updated as we know more about our plans to reinstate our delivery service. Mahalo!


in-home delivery


For large items, we partner with carriers and delivery companies specializing in the transportation of furniture and large parcel freight to deliver your items so you can rest assured that your items are being handled with the utmost care.

Our Full Service Home Delivery is the ultimate experience in ease and convenience. Relax and kick back as we handle all the setup. Our Full Service Home Delivery includes unloading your items and delivering them to the room, area, or outdoor space of your choice, unpacking and full assembly, and carton and packing trash removal. Full details are as follows:

  • Place your furniture where you want it.
  • Remove plastic coverings from upholstered pieces, mattresses, & boxsprings.
  • Remove straps which secure sleeper sofa mechanisms.
  • Set up dining room table with leaves in, if you wish.
  • Set glass shelves in hutch and curio units.
  • Set up bed frames and place mattresses on frame.
  • Attach mirrors to dressers, but not to walls.
  • Set up hutch and buffet units, wall units, and curio cabinets.
  • Carry your furniture up a maximum of three flights of stairs, if there is no elevator.
  • Remove all packaging materials from your property.
  • For mattress delivery, full service home delivery includes removal of your old mattress.

We are currently able to offer our full service home delivery service on Oahu, Maui, and the Big Island. For all other islands, we offer a modified delivery service detailed below.

For Kauai, home delivery includes unloading your items and delivering them to the first level room of your choice, unpacking and light assembly (legs and backings only), and carton and packing trash removal. NOTE: Due to COVID-19 our delivery partner on Kauai will only be delivering to outside of the home until further notice.

For Molokai, home delivery includes unloading your items and placing them on the curb outside your home. Please note that assembly is not included.

Maui & Big Island

In-home delivery fees on Maui and the Big Island start at $125. Delivery fees vary depending on the items purchased. Higher fees occur when the items purchased must be shipped from Oahu, thereby incurring water charges. Kauai

Delivery fees to the Kauai port start at $40. Home delivery fees on Kauai start at $290. Delivery fees vary depending on the items purchased. Higher fees occur when the items purchased must be shipped through Oahu, thereby incurring water charges. Molokai & Lanai

Delivery fees to the Molokai or Lanai port are generally free. However, there will be a water charge incurred when the items purchased must be shipped through Oahu. Home delivery fees on Molokai and Lanai start at $132. Please note that assembly is not included. Delivery fees vary depending on the items purchased. Higher fees occur when the items purchased must be shipped from Oahu, thereby incurring water charges. If your merchandise is to be delivered to a freight forwarder, please contact us at info@abodehawaii.com. Additional delivery information is required to ensure accurate processing of your order. Additional delivery charges may apply for special handling or packing that is required by your freight forwarder. Also in the case of using a freight forwarder, please note that the delivery may not be full service.

Full Service Home Delivery is scheduled by appointment. If all of your items are in stock and ready to be delivered, we will contact you within 48 hours of placing an order to schedule your delivery. If some or all of your items are not yet available for delivery, we will contact you within 48 hours of placing your order with next steps and will schedule your delivery once all items are ready to be delivered.

You will again be contacted by our delivery partner 2 days prior to your scheduled delivery date with an approximate delivery time frame. Contact will first be attempted by text message. If they do not receive a confirmation response from you, they will then contact you by email. If they do not receive a confirmation response from you, they will finally contact you by automated phone calls. If you are unable to be home on your scheduled delivery day, please email us at info@abodehawaii.com or call us at 808.791.0750 (9am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday) as soon as possible to reschedule. We need 2 days notice to reschedule for the next available delivery day. If you are not home when the delivery truck arrives, your delivery will be rescheduled and a re-delivery charge will be assessed. Please arrange for someone (18 years or older) to be home for delivery. If no one is at home, our delivery partner will proceed to the next scheduled delivery and you may be subject to an additional delivery charge. If delivery does not take place within 30 days of the original scheduled delivery date, the order may be treated as a canceled order.

For Oahu, Maui, and Big Island orders: On day of delivery, you are able to track your delivery below or navigate to abodehawaii.com and click on “track order” in the top right corner (desktop) or click on the three horizontal bars icon in the upper left corner and then click on the truck icon (mobile).

To ensure a smooth delivery, please take a moment to review our pre-delivery tips below:

  • Before your furniture arrives, it is highly recommended that you take the extra step to protect your floor or carpet. There are many alternatives available and depending on your home, you may need area rugs, felt pads, plastic cups, or other protection for your floor.
  • Our delivery partner will contact you 2 days prior to your delivery date to give you the approximate delivery time frame. You can also call us at 808.791.0750 to check.
  • If you are unable to be home on your scheduled delivery day, please call or email us as soon as possible to reschedule. We need 2 days notice to reschedule for the next available delivery day. If you are not home when the delivery truck arrives, your delivery will be rescheduled and a re-delivery charge will be assessed.
  • Prepare the area and create a clear path to where your merchandise is going.
  • Measure your elevator door and doorway to make sure they can accommodate your furniture.
  • Arrange for someone (18 years or older) to be home for delivery. If no one is at home, our delivery partner will move on to the next delivery and you may be subject to an additional delivery charge.
  • Reserve your elevator. Failure to do so will result in rescheduling and an additional delivery charge.
  • For safety, please inform us of any hazardous conditions or unusual circumstances (i.e. narrow entry, hallways, & steep driveway).

If your building requires a certificate of insurance (COI) prior to delivery, please contact us at info@abodehawaii.com immediately. We require 3 business days to process and obtain a COI for your delivery.

We package and wrap all of our products well and work with the best delivery partners so your items arrive at your home snug, safe, and secure. However, please take a moment at the time of delivery to thoroughly inspect all items. You may refuse to accept any broken or damaged items by informing the delivery crew and making a notation on the delivery receipt. Items that are refused due to damage will be replaced as soon as possible. Other refusals will be covered by our Return Policy.
